5th International Yoga Day with a spirit of betterment and prosperity of people across the globe is being celebrated throughout the country today.
From the very beginning of Shri Narendra Modi’s first term as the PM of India, the central Government has always been very enthusiastic about bringing a global exposure to Yoga which is considered as one of the most ancient practices in the world.
The Government’s initiative has surely pushed the Yoga day on an International aspect. On the auspicious occasion of 5th International Yoga Day, honourable Prime Minister attended a grand Yoga program at Jharkhand’s Ranchi.
Jharkhand State Government’s officials, Yoga specialist and trainer were also present at the programme where Narendra Modi’s heartfelt speech touched every Indian’s heart for sure. Honourable Prime Minister expressed his views saying that the practice of Yoga should be an integral part of everyone’s daily life, especially, in today’s age where a lion’s share of the people, even the youths are facing cardiac problems. He added poor health is something that makes you poorer with the time and hence the practice of Yoga that helps people to gain good health will, in turn, prevent poverty. Narendra Modi concluded his speech with a huge round of applaud saying, “Yoga for peace, harmony and progress”.

However, the footage of Yoga Day celebration of Indian Army personnel at the altitude of 18000 feet from sea level at Northern Ladakh, at minus 20 degree Celsius temperature, in Rajasthan and at historic Somnath Temple in Gujarat are surely the hint of integration of the entire nation into the resonance of harmony on this blissful occasion.
