Since the independence of India, or even much before than that, Indian National Congress (INC) was considered as the only prominent political party in the history of the country. Of course, other parties used to co-exist with INC but never achieved the popularity somewhat near to it.
However, the ups and downs along with lots of turning points have changed the political scenario of the country. While some new political teams have emerged, some have been eventually flushed away with time.
Bharatiya Janta Party, shortly called as BJP, is the most powerful political parties in India currently. Of course, paving the path beside a prominent squad like INC was not a very easy matter, but BJP’s consistent effort to penetrate the stage of Indian politics has enabled it to become world’s largest political party in terms of representation in National Parliament.
Founded by Mr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee in 1951, the parent organization of BJP is believed to be Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
BJP came into the power after the 2014 Lok Sabha election for the second time in the history of India. Earlier the right wing NDA camp led by late Atal Bihari Vajpayee steered the country in the late 90s. Recently in 2019 Lok Sabha election too, Bharatiya Janata Party, helmed by Shri Narendra Modi smashes the opposition by a landslide victory securing second term for Mr. Modi as the Prime Minister of the country.,
After this overwhelming winning at Lok Sabha election, BJP’s National General Secretary Mr. Ram Madhav in a recent meeting has said “Congress ruled India 1950 to 1977 and has become one of the highest ruling political party. I assure that Modi ji is going to break all the records and under Modi Ji rule India will celebrate 100 years of independence in 2047”.
Mr. Madhav kept on adding “We are not used military power to win the election, its team Modi’s hard work to win peoples’ heart. Nationalism is in the BJP’s DNA.BJP means nationalism, nationalism means BJP”. He said “In 2022, we will make a new India where there will be no homelessness, joblessness will end. In 2047 on the centenary of independence, India will stand as a ‘Vishwa guru”.
Whether it’s INC, BJP or any other political party that own the throne of Delhi’s power, as Indians, we all will desire to see our beloved motherland as a superpower on the global map where people will live with harmony, peace, and prosperity on the dawn of the centenary of its independence. We believe every Indian will be working with hand in hand to this end.
